It's only 2.5 miles from the hotel and unless the OP is not into BBQ at all I would strongly recommend checking it out. If you have other decent recommendations you can put them out there without watering down good suggestions put forth by others. Just something for you to think about .
Look, simmer down. I wasn't being negative. I love Buzz and Neds and have eaten there countless times. Yes, it is a Richmond institution, but there are places that are easier for the OP to get to. It's a pain in the rear to take a 2.5 mile cab ride just to eat some BBQ. I never watered down good suggestions from others and I believe if you read my post you'll see that I had many other good suggestions. Seriously, do yourself a favor and take a Xanax.

Ahh...resorting to personal insults now I see....classy !! If you already don't see how you were in the wrong and started your post on a negative note then I will not bother breaking it down for you.
Xanax becomes redundant if one is constantly able to reflect about own behavior and have respect for oneself and others, so obviously I am not the one here in need of one !!

OP - Sorry about the digression. Hope you are enjoying Richmond and your food adventures Downtown !! Cheers!

I didn't insult you. Just suggesting that you relax a little bit. Overreact much?

Coming back to town next Monday & Tuesday, same conference, same hotel, at the Convention Center. If I have a large (6-10) group for lunch and a limited lunch break - hour and a half tops - any great ideas?

Thanks in advance!
