Your place is so cute! I love these older mid-century style homes. Neighborhoods like this always look so quaint and old-fashioned and I'm really into that. I hate when people cover wood floors with carpet. I'm so happy to see you are going to bring the original floors back to life! It's already looking better. Please do share the photos of the finished product! It's good to hear that you enjoy the neighborhood. I've heard so many people on here say to avoid that area. It doesn't look so bad to me! How are you liking the place? I am looking into renting a property a bit further south from where you are, off of Ironbridge Rd. and not too far from Meadowbrook High School. Does anyone have any info. on this area? I drove through there and looked at the neighborhood and it was very quiet, and all the houses were brick and looked kept up. It seemed very nice to me but I haven't lived outside of Midlothian since I've been in Virginia, so I am still unsure of what areas to avoid. All the other affordable rental homes I looked at were not nice at all and in very bad areas so I assume that's why the rent was so cheap.

I hope you continue to enjoy your new home and neighborhood!
