The counties barely have sidewalks and you are implying it is flawed that downtown, where there is already a density and a critical mass of pedestrian, bicycle and GRTC, is the hub for transit?

You are right about the counties, they were created based on the automobile not walking. But what I criticize is the mindset that everything / everone wants to be going downtown. I agree that the density exists in the city but when I first looked at the proposed maps they appeared to focusing on getting the suburbs into the city, I stand corrected. I see now where they are recommendations within the city limits.

That said good luck getting the clown posse (City Councel & Mayors Staff) to work constructivley on this..

Made a subway map for richmond for fun yesterday (probably never going to even come close to the drawing board, let alone get built)

Nice. I felt a sense of relief looking over that image. If something like that were to really exist, I could just get around on a bike and lightrail. You should submit to the city. Much faster than waiting for a "study" .

^^ I'm on a campaign to hide copies in the nooks, and crannies of downtown, just to see who could possibly discover it
