Default butcher/fresh seafood
looking for other than grocery store service/food. i'm located near short pump but work in chester so location is too big a deal. any suggestions?

Great Butcher: Belmont Butchery
15 N Belmont St ... it's a block or 2 north of Carytown.

I"ve heard Yellow Umbrella at 5600 Patterson Avenue is pretty good for seafood. I've also heard good things about Carytown Seafood (in Carytown, not at Innsbrook).

Don't know about a butcher, but Tuckahoe Seafood as of a few years ago had some really good fresh seafood, off Parham on the West End.

VA Yankee will become famous soon enough
Try Fresh Market on Parham or Cross Brothers in Ashland. Cross Brothers is an old fashioned grocery store with a custom Butcher department.
