I am planning to relocate to Richmond at the end of next year. I hope some of you will have some suggestions for me.
Here is my situation:
I am a 60 year old woman, still working and very active, with a progressive mindset.
I would like to live in an older established (safe) neighborhood within walking distance of markets, stores, etc.
I would like to be able to rely on public transportation and not use the car so much.
I plan to buy a single family home, nothing fancy, maybe an older bungalow, but I would need a nice-sized lot for my dogs.
Because of the dogs, I would like to live within walking distance (a mile or so) of a large park/greenspace
i don't need to live right in Richmond proper, but I don't want to live in 'suburbia' with developments and Walmarts-nothing wrong with that, but it just isn't my thing.

I appreciate any feedback, suggestions, or advice! Thank you!

I'd also consider Bellevue and the Willow Lawn area
