Haha, exactly what I was thinking. I saw another "list" the other day saying Richmond is the best 4th of July city. Strange...

I heard the Dogwood Dell fireworks this year were seriously inadequate, namely the finale.

Yeah, I was watching, and could see the fireworks from the Diamond over my shoulder. Their finale was much, much more impressive. Dogwood Dell's finale happened and people thought, "Wait, there's more, right?" There was a lot of confused lingering.

That's exactly what I heard. I guess the city dropped the ball and the Squirrels scooped it up!
