Virginia SEEMS to be a gun-friendly state. Is Richmond a gun-friendly city? Just curious.

It's where most of the guns used for crimes in NYC originate, so I'd say it's pretty gun-friendly.

Gun friendly but not gun glorified. I've only seen a handful people open carry in VA in 40 years. People don't care if you have a gun and will roll their eyes at you if you go on about it. It is like blathering on about having indoor plumbing. No one is surprised by or interested in your firearm.

That's just because VA is the first gun friendly state you hit when driving from NY. No other reason.
