I am interested to know if there are any walkable/sidewalk developments in the Short Pump area in general. Ideally would like to have sidewalks, or access to trails, and community pool, tennis etc.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

West Broad Village is probably the only thing in GA that has the sidewalks near stuff you can actually do, burbs around here hate sidewalks for some reason. Where in Boston you from?

actually most new developments in the past 10 years have sidewalks. It is a growing trend for anything new in the suburbs to go back to full sidewalks (my neighborhood actually has sidewalks on both sides of the street).

Can you tell me which developments have full sidewalks? And apologies if I mistakenly used Glen Allen as the geography. I'm looking for single family homes districted to Deep Run HS. It's looks like quite a number of options in the area. If there are pros/cons of any, please advise. Appears to be all great subdivisions differences in terms of newest of homes and lot sizes.

Not from Boston. When I created this user name way back, had a few opportunities to move there but ended up not doing so.

Thanks to all for your response.

Twin Hickory has sidewalk coming into and between the various areas but not in front of all houses. Wyndam is pretty much the same way.

For some reason these developments weren't much for full side walks.

Most of the new developments in Chesterfield have sidewalks throughout the neighborhood including in front of every house. example: Halsley, Tarrington, Founders Bridge. Of course these are in chesterfield not Henrico or Deep Run.

Yep, I do love Boston, visiting not living there.

I was able to check out Short Pump areas including a few of the subdivisions such as Wyndham, Twin Hickory, Grey Oaks. All very nice livable areas. I was there during the day so didn't pay much attention but are the roads well lit? I guess same with say driving on 64 and surrounding area. Just curious.

Thanks
