Great suggestions....
We are W. Broad St very near Philp Morris. Our house is in Tuckahoe area.
Carey Town sounds like the closest area and coolest.
Thanks and will look at any other suggestion tomorrow before our trip.
Thanks!!

Green Front is awesome
Check out the Green Front warehouses along the River in Farmville...that is where they have the best priced furniture. They are NOT open on Sundays here in Farmville. If you are looking for somewhere to eat in Farmville, I would suggest Zelias. They are something like a deli, but offer things like local art and wine with their sandwiches, soups, and desserts. It is almost a bistro atmosphere. Charley's waterfront cafe (right across from Green Front Warehouse 8-9) also has good food and atmosphere and if the weather is good you can eat on the deck.
If you are looking for handcrafted furniture, there is also Amish Originals in Farmville, but they are Expensive!
Just some thoughts, hope they help.

Thanks all for your suggestions. Of course we were just there and it rained all of Monday when we had the free time for meals. We ended up at the CanCan in Carey Town for lunch....LOVED IT! and at Arzuro's (Sp?) near U or R for dinner and loved it too. Didn't want to venture too far in the bad weather.
I will print out a list of these restaurants for when we move there this summer.
Thanks a ton for the suggestions!!!

Hope you had a nice time during your visit and I'm glad you liked CanCan and Azurro.
Were you able to check out some of the furniture stores or did the weather "rain" on that idea?

This is kind of funny -- I was at Azzuro for dinner on Saturday night, too! I didn't think to put it on my list of recommendations because it's a little off the beaten path. Glad you enjoyed your trip.
Green Front, BTW, is kind of a full day's trip from Richmond. Worth it, though, especially if you need rugs.

Leo Burke is having their 50 year anniversary sale! Check it out.
Try White Dog in the Fan. That is always a great dinner.
