How is the water in Richmond? Does everyone order tanks from bottle water company or do they drink from the faucet? Also is there fluoride in the water?

Thanks!

Default St. Bridget's

Hi. We've talked before in this forum. We're going to be in Richmond next week with our St. Bridget's interview on Weds. We're also going to see Maybeury and Tuckahoe Elementary Schools. I think you said your children will be going to St. Bridget's. Can you tell me how far you'll be driving to get them to school? If they offer us places, and it's not clear if they have the space, then I'd like to figure out just how far into Henrico we can live. We're going to start off renting for a while so we can get to know the area. I'd love to hear back from you. I wonder if I can give you my e-mail address separately. I'm not sure how these things work.
Marianne

To answer the question, generally I think tap water is drinkable, but nothing amazing.

PS I think there are precious few places in the entire country (extreme rural areas notwithstanding) that don't put flouride in the water nowdays.....
