Richmond to Petersburg
I am a recent grad thinking of accepting a job in Petersburg. I do not know anyone in the area and have been told that either The Fan or Shockoe Bottom would be a good area to meet new people as well as have a night life that does not need to be driven to. I am concerned most about the commute. How is traffic on 95 South if I am trying to make it to Petersburg by 8-8:30 and leaving Petersburg by 4:30? Additionally, if anyone has any apartment suggestions in these areas under $900 please let me know.
