Default Looking for a church in the Richmond area

I will be relocating to the Richmond area (West End) at the beginning of December and will be looking to find a church. I have been going to a really young, hip church in Oklahoma City for the past 4 years that I love. It had a great rock band that would lead the worship and the pastor was good about teaching lessons that related to a younger crowd. I'm in my late 20's and will be looking to find a fun, laid back church like this when I move to get involved with and meet people. I'd love some suggestions on churches to try when I move.

No problem. I've never been there but I've heard a lot of good things.

It's not my thing, but there's also a place called 'The Roc' church on Midlothian Turnpike, I think.

If you haven't already, you should definitly check out the "ROC" (Richmond Outreach Center). The ROC is an awesome church that is really on fire for Jesus and the pastor's messages are right from the bible, but easy to relate to in today times. There's a really good band that leads the service and lots of people your age to meet and get to know. Plus there are lots and lots of ministries to get involved with. According to the description of your church in Oklahoma City, I think you would enjoy the ROC.

KingsWay Community Church in Midlothian is a wonderful church with a great worship band. My son plays bass and my daughter plays the drums. We've been members for 18 years with our kids growing up there with most of their friends members. alot of young people stay there.

I think the website is kingsway.cc, or you can google it.
