Question Areas...Midlothian, VA, city of Richmond commute

I might be relocating to Midlothian for a job, but like the Richmond city area to live (i lived in the fan as a student for 2 years). I'm looking for an apartment, and wondering about the closest, safest, most reasonable areas, to start my apartment look, based on the job in Midloathian and my likeness of the city of Richmond. I need a happy medium. How far away is Richmond from Midloathian anyway?

Thanks....hopefully this makes sense...

about 20min

I grew up in Midlothian and went to school in Richmond.

Where are you working in Midlothian?

Let me know if you have any other questions.

I can get from the Fan area to visit family in Midlothian in about 20 minutes.

I would take a look at the "Bon Air" area - which is on the "cusp" between Chesterfield and City of Richmond...easy commute to both Midlo and the Fan area...good luck..

I think you would be most happy downtown or in the bottom. That is now becoming a vibrant community and your commute would be minimal.
