There are a lot of picturesque places in Richmond. There are a few less nice places. Sometimes those are worth looking at too. I think I'll start a new thread, Ugly Richmond, just so your not shocked when you get here.

How boring a place would be if everything was Mayberry perfect. I like that Richmond has some grit.

A few random photos I've taken over the last year or so around town. I've posted them on another forum before but they may be new to some here. I need to get out and about more so hopefully I'll post a few more old ones and then some new ones at some point in the near future.
1 - James River Park
2 - View of the City from Belle Isle at sunset.
3 - St. Pauls' Episcopal by Capital Square. A very historic church.

The view from the I64/95 corridor going south reveals a lot more grit than charm. A picture of Monoe Park on a Sunday morning is less than charming too. So are the park bench pioneers that live in my neighborhood. I love the city, but I think it is high time Richmond took a good look at itself.
