Default what are the "can't miss" events in Richmond?

We are moving to Richmond and I wanted to know what are the "can't miss" events or attractions. What fun festivals or concerts are there?

there are tons of festivals here! My favorite is the Greek festival, but we also like the Armenian festival, the Italian festival, the folk festival, & the seafood festival. There were a couple Irish festivals this month too and there are many others I haven't named. It seems like there's always something going on here, which is one of the things I love about Richmond.

Some good sources of event info (in addition to Venture Richmond above) are www.richmond.com and www.inrich.com

There's plenty of concert series from Friday Cheers to Innsbrook Afterhours to others.

The Carytown Watermelon Festival, Lebanese Food Festival, James Center Grand Illumination during the holidays, and First Fridays Artwalk are some others that come to mind.

State Fair of Virginia will be in Doswell, Caroline County this fall. The Annual Richmond Christmas Parade draws thousands of spectators each December.
