Default Where can I see Sunflower fields?

Dear All,

Looking forward to see some sunflowers in bloom.. are there any sunflower fields in/around VA within driving distance from Richmond? What would be the best time to visit?

Any suggestions on places to visit/scenic driveways for viewing the wild flowers of spring and such? It's my first Spring here and don't want to miss out on the best of nature.

Thanks,
Belle

There are quite a few sunflower growers along Courthouse Rd in Chesterfield between Midlothian Tpke and Lucks Lane. Not exactly a scenic byway (rather a very busy local road), but there's a good number of sunflowers and you can pick a ton.

Probably not much help with regards to scenic drives with wild flowers though.
