Hey everyone, I'll be moving to Richmond, close to Short Pump in Lakeside area (zip-23228), in a few months and need a good salon. A cut around $30 or $40 and a foil hi-light for around $100 is a good price for me. I'm white with fine textured hair. Any suggestions? Oh, also, eyebrow waxing too if salon does it all. Thanks for the help.

Thanks everyone, I'm not very fond of the aveda salons, any other ideas? Alittle higher price might be O.K. too.

When I was living in the west end (2004-oct 2008) I eventually went to Salon Magnolia-owner Amanda. It was recommended by DD friends mom. The Salon is off John Rolfe Pkwy just south of Short Pump Mall. Haircut was $32. Never had foil-I know she does this-but have done eye brow waxing.
I did the rounds in the Short Pump Mall and was never happy. I was very pleased with Amanda-she listened to what you wanted and is such a great person! I miss her.

I just looked up Salon Magnolia, and it seems to be for sale on craigs list as of 05/26/2009. Thanks for the help though.

I'm getting ready to move to Richmond next month. My current stylist suggested that I find someone who has a great haircut and ask them where they go. You'll see the work for yourself, hopefully get a good referral, and probably make their day!

Hello All,

I am the new owner of Salon Magnolia and we would love to have your business! Amanda and Chenna are still stylists at Salon Magnolia. Amanda sold the salon to focus on her non-profit organization, but she is still a full time stylist who would love to service your hair. Visit our website at salonmagnoliaspa.com or give us a call to book an appointment today at 804-364-9990.

Have a great Day!

Best Regards,
Danyel Trammell
