Default Church Hill makes "Worst Neighborhoods" list.

Just saw this list put out by NeighborhoodScout.com on the worst 'hoods in the country and Richmond's Church Hill made the top 10. Here's the link for anyone interested:

Wonder how long they've been putting that list out? I keep hearing how crime has consistently dropped in that area. There are parts of that 'hood I'd love to live in and some places that obviously still have issues.

Regardless of Church Hills reputation, it still is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Richmond. Especially the blocks right around St. Johns church to the hills overlooking the James. I never feel unsafe when there. Just like in any city be aware of your surroundings and try not to be an obvious target to criminals.

Nebat, the very specific boundaries of their "Church Hill" exclude portions of Church Hill close to St John's Church, Libby Hill, etc. Everything south and west of Cedar wasn't excluded, which would certainly skew their results.
