Greetings. My family is considering a move to the Richmond area. Two questions.

1. Our daughter has down's syndrome. Any suggestions for pre-K programs in the city.

2. Job would be in Hopewell. Is this an unreasonable commute from the fan or museum district? What would traffic and commute time be like.

Hello, Surprised you have had 0 responses. Sorry I can't help. To get the route, milage and time I would go to Google Maps and enter (the work address), Hopewell, Va to 200 North Boulevard Richmond, VA . Good luck.

If your plans are to have your daughter continue her education in the public school system, you might want to contact the different localities and see what they would offer her once she is done with preschool. As to distance to Hopewell from the city, I would say it is about 25-30 miles. You could hop on 95S and take the Route 10 exit to get into Hopewell. I will say the commute home in the afternoon might be a bit congested on Route 10.
