Hello I am a single parent of a nine year old Virginia born son. I moved to New York to be close to family and to get a new start. I went back to school and received an associates degree and am currently attending Baruch pursuing my Bachelors in finance an investments, but my son and I are home sick for Virginia and I have decided to transfer out there. I am looking for an apartment that is income based while I get a part time job and I continue school full time. Great area and schools are important as my son has ADHD and despite that he received 3s and 4s in the NY state exams (a testiment to the good schooling). This is a perfect time because he is getting ready to enter intermediate school. I am interested in the Chester/Chesterfield areas. Thank you

Leenie -

Try this, it looks promising. I don't live in Chesterfield so I can't answer from experience. You might try also calling the County Housing department and see if there is information there as well.
