How hot does it get in summer time in Roanoke?
We are looking to relocate and are curious if it gets really hot in the summer. Does it reach 90? Any advice on rent amounts in the area? Can you find a decent one bedroom for around $400 per month?? Any advice, suggestions would be welcomed. Thank you s o much!!

yes, it gets effing hot as heck around here. 90 something degrees for several day stretches, several weeks in the summer. it rarely reaches 100, but it does on occasion. Earlier this month was the first time since August 2007 that there was two 100 degree days in a row. and its quite humid.
