Hi All

My Husband accepted new job in Danville va.I am a computer engineer looking for a job.My husband has to start at his new job in a week which didn't leave us enough time to research and choose on a place to move..

We are looking for an apartment closer to TRIAD/RTP(where there are more job opportunities for me) and yet commutable(45 mins-1hr) to danville va.Can some one please suggest any area closer to RTP/TRIAD
which is not too rural..We both are in early 30's and would like to be closer to bigger places where we wont be bored..Can some one please suggest a place/aparments which would fit our need....

Thanks!

Danville is commutable to the Triad area, I'm not sure to Raleigh RTP(very heavy traffic in that area!). The northern side of Greensboro is nice, lots of apartments. Try posting in the NC section under Triad. Good Luck!

LOL, so true. I'm a current Danville resident and I commuted from Greensboro to Danville for about 6 months. If I understand the OP, she's looking for a place half-way between Danville and the Triad to live? Eden, NC may be a good fit or Reidsville. But, honestly, if I were you I would settle in Greensboro and just make your husband drive an hour to work everyday! LOL. Or you could settle in Burlington which looks to be about the same distance from Danville as G'boro but it's closer to the Raleigh, Durham, and Chapel Hill.
