We live in Daleville and transferred from up North. It is def a mellow place to live. Great house on Etzler road for rent by owner. Not sure how much it is but it sits on acreage and is a beautiful colonial. If he is coming out to look it is about .5 -.75 miles on the same side as the elementary.
Takes a bit to break in as most folks have a host of family around.
But if you are the church going type (we are not) you will break in fast and the locals will win a prize (or so it seemed) to get you to go to their church. Nice but a bit pushy.
Been here six years and I say it took 3 to get real comfortable.
Cant say I would move but vacations to the hustle are nice.
