Question Opinion Needed on Orange Avenue & King Street area

I am looking at a place near the Orange Avenue and King Street intersection. Can anyone give me an opinion on this area as far as safety is concerned?

I almost moved there (to Glade Creek Apartments). I don't know about the safety of the area but I would guess it to be relatively safe. It is not within walking distance of much of anything, which would help.

Good luck!

I am actually considering Glade Creek. What changed your mind about living there?

Glade Creek was essentially a fallback for me. I have lived in similar apartments (nice, newer, lots of amenities, white walls) for the better part of 20 years and was hoping to find something less cookie cutter and with more character. Also, I was hoping to live in Grandin Village or Downtown so I could walk to shops and restaurants. I placed a deposit on an apartment in case I didn't find what I was looking for, which ultimately, I did - so I canceled the Glade Creek apt.

From my research and visits, Glade Creek is perfectly nice and very affordable in my opinion -- it just wasn't what I really wanted at this point in time.

Sorry that I haven't answered your questions about safety - hopefully someone else will chime in on that!
