A Hilton brand hotel known as home2 suites will be built at the former huffing lane elementary. Another hotel to be announced will go there. Also a new el rodeo will be built there. This was a buffer between Valley View and the neighborhood behind the school. In your opinion is this a good thing?

Home2 Suites has a rather upscale look to it and should be a nice compliment to the existing hotels at Valley View and the new Hampton Inn and Suites nearby. A little less than impressed with El Rodeo, especially with Abuelos practically across the street, but I guess it will make for a decent fit.

I have the same sentiments. Is an El Rodeo really needed at that spot, especially with its outdoor patio? The neighbors in question will be tested once more, I'm afraid!

What gives? We were told an "upscale" restaurant was being planned at Valley View. Valley View may be going downhill in my opinion with all of their mediocre stores.
