Default Why not Roanoke,NRV,Lynchburg forum???

I was just curious with the gaining popularity of our region (south western va.).. Why is'nt there a forum for us???!!!?? I think its strange all the other regions in the state have a forum but us.. It annoys me! Anyone else think so too??

I agree!!! It would certainly help those looking for info. But then again I think Northern Virginia should become it's own state. Then maybe more of those tax dollars might trickle down here into the country.

Smile Staying away from Nova

The last time I visited Nova I was greeted with extra high gas prices, rude drivers, and horrible traffic... I told myself I will avoid that area as much as possible and I havent been back since! There's not much reason for me to visit that area.. I think I'll be staying here in the mountains as much as possible and when I do have to venture out to a bigger city... for any reason.. it'll be into North Carolina! Nova is just over priced, overpopulated, and full of rude people (from what I saw).

I would like to see a NRV/Roanoke Valley Forum. I am looking for rental houses in the Blacksburg/Christiansburg area. Four bedrooms, three baths or at least 2 1/2, and hopefully a little space for a garden. My wife is a med school student at Vt and I am starting a business that coverss the NRV and Roanoke Valley areas. What does it take to start a forum? I would be willing to set it up if I know how to do it. Fred

Yeah, but they have no problem hireling foreigners……..and I am one of those pesky Euro-trash with a US college degree who got ridiculed and laughed at here in Lynchburg. What happened to Southern Hospitality?

I think an administrator just needs to create another subforum in the VA forum.

Talking That's Lynchburg

Well thats Lynchburg.. The problem with Roanoke is that we just dont have a real strong job market esp. for higher paying jobs. I see various different ethnic people everyday wether it be at walmart or the Pakistan guy that lives above me.. I think Roanoke is very welcoming to any ethnic group to be honest.
