Default Responsible Ferrum senior looking for reasonable rental

I am a returning senior/baseball player at Ferrum College that will be completing my last graduation requirement of Internship during the spring '09 semester, although I would like to move to Ferrum area in August '08.

Completing Internship only does not qualify me as a full-time student and cannot live on campus...college policy. Therefore, I have to find somewhere to live...August through May 2009. Trying to do this currently working and living 4 1/2 hours away is a challenge that I hope someone on this forum can help me with.

Looking for studio apartment, bedroom/bath with separate entrance in someone's home, or any reasonable, decent place to live.

Would appreciate any suggestions from forum members.

Default Looking for housing at Ferrum

My son is transferring into Ferrum to play baseball and will be beginning his Jr. year. He is looking to upgrade his housing as he is currently scheduled for Bassett Hall. Have you found any housing, do you have any suggestions or recomendations on where he may find housing?

A friend of mine just moved to Richmond from Ferrum and has a nice little house very, very close to Ferrum College (only about a 1/4 mile!). It's on the market now:

Search Franklin County, Rocky Mount, Smith Mountain Lake Real Estate Listings For Sale

But he is also interested in renting so you might call the listing agent.
