Default Windsor Lake?

We're looking at Single Family homes in the Windsor Lake area in the SW City area. (It's literally right on the SW City/SW county line.) One home in particular is about a block away from the lake. Is this a good development that will hold its value? WAlking the neighborhood, it looks like the area has a mix of homes -- from the very big , to the quaint.

Any info or insights would be appreciated.

That's a good area. I looked at a house on the corner of Belford and Westchester there. Homes there should hold their value as well as anywhere else in SW Rke.

The Belford/Westchester streets are not in Windsor Lake and homes there would not have lake access. Homes in Windsor Lake hold their property very well, and ofter sell by word of mouth or within a few days. It is a quiet, private neighborhood with large lots. Some homes are lake front, others that are members of the Windsor Lake association have access to the lake through a common area park and dock. Fishing, swimming, canoeing are popular activities in the lake. The lake is spring fed and very clean. There is an active neighborhood association.
