Default Questions about Intelos

I will probably be switching cell phone providers in a year and want to start shopping for a new one. Has anyone here ever had any experience with Intelos? Do they offer reasonable plans and good service? I want nationwide coverage, and I'm also single, so there won't be anyone else on my plan.

I know lots of people who use Verizon and are very happy with that service. My husband has AT&T through work and I have Sprint.

There are several to choose from so you can do plenty of research online.

I don't know anything about ntelos for wireless service but use them for DSL and home phone.

We have a family of 4 with NTelos. I used to be a wireless engineer with Alltel, and know the industry very well. NTelos is very good and slightly less expensive than others.

I had nTelos wireless service for about 4 years and just switched to Verizon.

when we signed up nTelos was cheaper but now Verizon offered the same service for the same price, but with better phones & a wider service area.

One of the most irritating things about nTelos was that it seemed like they re-use numbers a lot. I changed my number 3 times and constantly got wrong number calls at all hours. I haven't had any with Verizon. nTelos also had ridiculously bad customer service (at least at the NW city location -- cant think of the name of the plaza)

- sorry to bump an old post, i wasnt paying attention :-)
