The PBR is coming to the Roanoke Civic Center next month (on a weekend when I have something else going on....grrr...) This is the first time the bull riders have come since about May 2007.

Calendar Of Events

Also, about an hour away, Lexington has a PBR event every Decemeber. And just outside of Lynchburg, several months each year, a group has amateur/semipro bull riding on Friday nights. It's a lot more low-budget than the PBR, but still something I've always wanted to make it up to see.

Hope this helps.

Default No Joke!

You know, I thought this thread was about Pabst Blue Ribbon!

Really! There have been other beer threads here before and it didn't seem TOO off-the-wall. Am glad, though, for the "diversity."

Woohoo!

Heard a rumor two weekends ago that the Boonsboro bull riding isn't active this year. I have no idea if that's true, but I got to thinking about it because I stumbled across this:

The Roanoke Times: Bull school in Boonsboro
