One thing coming I forgot--LU is building a public year-round artificial ski slope. That should be fun for everyone. Added to the theater, football and basketball, public indoor ice center and the new indoor soccer facility and LU is becoming quite the public entertainment center.

Default Well..

..if ya like good music, rock and blues and all that, I was pretty impressed with the Jazz Street Cafe, have some pretty hip bands there, which you would never expect for a place like L-Burg. It's a young crowd, college-aged, and gets pretty crowded. But when you really need to get out, i recommend it.

They just need more like it.

Night life entertainment will never be the specialty of this town, never. I recently heard, and it's not confirmed for truth, that the place Cattle Annie's was being purchased by LU.

I'm glad I'm only in Lynchburg on a contract basis!

Spoke to someone over the weekend and they acknowledged that LU WAS looking to buy it, but that the deal fell through recently.

Who knows? It's a gossipy town.
