When is Tom Wahl's going to come to Syracuse? It sounds like it is really good....I guess Zebb's in Syracuse and Utica areas are similar from what I'm hearing. I think there is one in Brighton and a couple in the Buffalo area too.

I wouldn't compare Zebbs to Tom Wahls..... Tom Wahls is more of a short order place like Bill Grays where you order at a counter and they call you when your food is ready. Zebbs is a sit down place with a larger menu.
I wasn't aware that Tom Wahls was going to Syracuse. That sounds pretty cool.

They closed down in Webster. It was bound to happen; I dont know how a Bill Grays, 5Guys, Tom Wahls, Empire Hots, and Charlies could all survive in one suburb.

Not to mention that Tom Wahls and Bill Grays are owned by the same company now so it may have been counterproductive to have two of them in such a short distance.

I don't think Zebb's and TW's are alike at all..... The buger thickness has a lot to do with the difference too.... TW's has a thinner buger than Zebb's. I like TW's much better but Zebb's is a good Family Sit Down Restaurant.... with a lot more on the menu.... but if I am going for a burger I want at TW's......not a Zebb's- in fact I don't even put them on the short list of places I want to go to when I think of a burger......

Tom Wahl's makes the greatest root beer known to man. I've yet to try a root beer than comes even close.

Actually, I was wondering if they ever thought about coming to Syracuse. We also have Cheeburger Cheeburger here in Camillus and that's pretty good. I've heard that 5 Guys is good, but I haven't tried it yet.

Right next to Outback Steakhouse in Greece by 390 and Ridge. There is already one in Henrietta in the plaza with Moe's on Jefferson between E. Henrietta and 390.

There is one in Webster now too..... across from the Holt Rd Plaza/Wegmans...... on Ridge.... in a tiny little plaza on the right just before you hit Jackson heading East.
