You want ugly? Take a look at the cement block box that Congel added to the Mall is Syracuse. The original structure is kind of a tacky 70's sort of thing. The new addition (which is probably as large as the original mall) is a big block box.

It is also empty....

Lol, well that is just very unfortunate. Good to know some douchebag got paid an exorbitant amount of money to design a concrete box!!!!!!

What does everyone think about the new proposed design for the East Ave Wegmans? Looks like a great building. But just like the new PAETEC headquarters, it looks like it would fit in more in the burbs than the city.

I completely agree. For a prominent store - yikes on the facade.. Not a fan of the lettering either.
