looking to move to rochester area (restaurants, cost, shop)

i'm 24 yrs old, single and originally from canandaigua, moved to long island for two years but cannot take the cost and stress and attitudes anymore. Looking to move into the rochester area, any suggestions as to nice areas for someone my age and position??

Park ave area. You are right next to downtown, lots of decent restaurants and some good shopping.
If you are more artsy move to the South Wedge. More of a diverse artsy park ave with more "alternative" type people.
