Hi.
I know that Wayne County borders Monroe where Rochester is. However, I'm looking to be 25 minutes from Rochester and would like to own acregage and pay low taxes. Is there any towns that I should avoid. I am assuming the closer to the border would be more expensive. Looking for great schools and atleast 2 acres with home around 200,000 or less and taxes no more 3,500 a year. I know Wayne is really rural and don't want to be far from Rochester. Thank you in advance. I have also been trying to find what the property taxes are. They are very confusing.
A $200,000 house will have property taxes of about $7000 including school taxes. I'm sure if you looked, you could find a large house on acrage for about $100,000. Then decorate and improve it to your liking. There's your $200,000 house with $3500 property taxes.

Yeah, I was going to say that the OP doesn't need to go that high to find what he/she is looking for. Here are some properties, but they don't have the taxes listed: RealtyUSA - Property - Property-List
