Im looking for a self serve (coin operated) car wash you know the ones with the wands, and you actually wash it yourself. Ive been thru the laser one and hated it and delta sonic is too harsh PSI on my new vinyl. Trying to just get all this salt off my vehicle. I live in the Rochester/Greece/Hilton area so anywhere around these parts would be great and ideal, ive looked all over online but most search engines seem to think i mean delta sonic and a laser wash; instead, of the DIY wand style car wash thats usually coin op.

Maiden Lane across from Tops (near Mt. Read) and there's a newer one at the plaza where Fiz Pop, Skip's Meats, JF Jones Jewelers, etc. is located. Bernice St. @ W. Ridge.

x2

Not sure if it's still there but I used it last about 7 years ago. I liked it because it was dead on a Sunday afternoon, usually, with few customers.

There's a pretty good one tucked away on Master Street in the City of Rochester, which is just off of Waring Road. In fact, the carwash itself is in a setback portion behind Waring Plaza. Easy to miss if you don't know the area.

There's also Buckman's on Winton/University which is not a self serve place but still a decent balance between the power washers at Delta Sonic and a do-it-yourself operation.
