No school in Henrietta. To young. An Uncle did come out with use and meet a local girl and stay. Most of his kids have moved out of state but my Aunt still lives in Fairport and I have a cousin in Buffalo.
In Florida I grew up in Pinellas Park, and that's where I went to school. Its a small town next to the area I still visit.
I go to the Henrietta area often (woodworking store) and Fairport (family) but do not, nor have I ever, claim to know much about Rochester.
I'm considering moving to the Rochester area. I'm originally from upstate NY, but I've been in the Raleigh NC area for the past 14 years. I actually really like both areas for different reasons. However, the biggest reason I'm looking at possibly moving back is for a career opportunity. It will be hard to leave all my friends behind along with some family that has since moved to NC, but I'd also be moving back closer to other family members and old friends. If I do decide to relocate, it will truly be bittersweet. But sometimes you need to make big moves in order to move ahead in life.
I'm really excited about the school system for my children and believe it or not... the weather. My family loves to ski and it will be nice to be able to travel 45 minutes or so to get to a ski resort.
I have read some of your posts. I am happy for you and your family. Im glad you feel at home and enjoying being back.
Thank you that is very nice of you. It is nice to be back! There are still certain things I will always miss about living in NC but this is where we feel at home.

I hope you are able to come to a decision you are happy with. I really enjoyed living in Raleigh and Rochester and they are both great places to live and raise a family. Sounds like no matter what you decide you'll be happy so good luck with either choice!
