Default Homes with in-law quarters, Rochester????

We are relocating to the area of Rochester, NY. Specfically the Chili-Gates, Spencerport, Ogden area. I am looking for a home with in-law quarters already there OR a home where I can eventually build an in-law quarters upon. If anyone knows any homes like that, please let me know.
Thanks
Stell

I'm in the same boat. I am looking to move back home to the Rochester area from NC in the near future and have been strongly considering buying a house with room for my parents. If you go to Nothnagle.com, they will give you a description of the house, and I believe in-law quarteres are an option you can choose to look for. I've found a LOT of homes with at least one bedroom on the first floor or a walk-in inlaw suit in the basement. There are a lot of multi-generational households in the Rochester area; many times when an elderly person can't take care of themeselves, their kids or even grandkids have them come and live with them. Nothnagle is the best real estate website for the Rochester area that's for sure; but I do know for a fact that realtor.com does give you the option of searching for inlaw suits specifically, and I'm not sure if nothnagle does.

The local real estate site for Rochester is www.homesteadnet.com. It is a good site with lots of search options.
