Hey guys, what are some of the best Halloween attractions for adults? Looking for something scary for my wife and I to do for our anniversary. Was considering the castle of horrors at the main street armory. Anyone know how good thats supposed to be? Any suggestions would be great, just trying to avoid high school kids and punks. Scary 18 or 21 and older events are ideal. Thanks!

I've been to the first year of Castle of Horrors and definitely thought it was a lot of fun and scary. Castle Of Horrors is geared towardsd an older crowd, but you will probably see quite a few high school kids. But most will be college age and older. I'm in my late 30's and go with my fiance to most of the Rochester Haunted attractions each year and have never had an issue with the younger crowd. I'll be going to Castle of Horrors again. The high school kids always tend to look far more scared in the line waiting than the over 21 crowd...LOL!

For the biggest indoor attraction, Nightmare Manor definitely is the place. I go to this one every year and love it too.
Nightmare Manor
Nightmare Manor will probably have more high school kids than COH though.

Which one would you pick if you could only do one, COH or Nightmare Manor? These are the two I've narrowed it down to. I have looked at some of the other attractions in the area but a lot of them are a bit of a drive from the city.

I would probably pick Nightmare Manor because it's larger and they have been doing it for quite a few years now. So they have nailed down what works and what doesn't really work. But honestly, I think you'd probably enjoy either one.
