How are the schools? Is it a safe area? How convenient is it to shopping, fast food,grocery,mall,restaurants,etc...? Thanks again for your information to all who have helped me.

Ogden is very safe...stereotype Rochester suburb. The police blotter for the town can be found at ogdenny.com. South Ogden is more convenient that North Ogden for shopping, access to the city, etc. Most of Ogden is Spencerport schools, supposedly excellent. Spencerport is the village in Ogden. I do not believe there is a good grocery store in Ogden...travel to Brockport/Chili/Greece Wegmans, Gates Tops, or Hilton IGA is probably going to be necessary depending on where in Ogden you are. Closest mall is Greece. Gates/Chili/Greece/Village of Spencerport all have good selection of restaurants in close proximity to Ogden.

It's really rural, but beautiful. I think people do their shopping in Greece, which borders the town and has a mall, supermarket, and the like.

MookieW is on a distinguished road
I lived there for a few years and thought it was great. You are in a country setting within minutes to any store you would need to go to. Lots of Golf courses too...if you are into that.
