Does this statement imply that you'll be working in Henrietta? If so, keep one thing in mind....if you're not familiar with Rochester winters, a 30-40 minute drive in summer, can easily become a 2-3 HOUR drive in the winter. Choose the location of your new home carefully.
Aw, come on. We haven't had a storm like that in decades. Snow does need to be considered in your transportation decisions, but I can't recall being more than 10 minutes late in years

I'm not sure it's that long... I know for sure, that we had a pretty serious one in 1999, but by that point in time, I had a 4x4 truck, with serious snow tires, so commuting wasn't too big a deal for me. I do remember on that particular day (March '99), I got to work without too much trouble, even though I was driving INTO the storm (driving east to west), but it was 5:15 AM, and the only thing on the roads, beside me and a few other fools, were the NYS plows. The ride home, however, took at least 2 hours.
I retired in 2008, so I haven't kept up all that well, regarding commuting, but I can recall a few times, since then, looking out the window, thinking, "thank God I don't have to go to work in this mess"....
Another thing could be to stay put in Henrietta, as Rush-Henrietta is a good SD that has a lot in terms of shopping and is in a good location. It also tends to relatively lower property taxes and if this even matters, it is a relatively culturally diverse SD with good results across the board. It seems like a district you can suggest to a wide range of people and with a consensus from people of being a largely positive choice.
You do have to be aware of winters anywhere in Upstate NY, but roads usually are cleared in a timely manner and delays occur only if there is serious snowfall versus being a daily occurrence.
Also, keep this in mind. If you live west of your workplace, you'll have the rising sun in your eyes every morning while driving to work, and the setting sun in your eyes driving home. It's something people never think about until it's too late.
I'm not sure if this will help (I know nothing about music programs in schools), but Rochester has The Eastman School of Music. https://www.esm.rochester.edu/about/
If your real estate agent can't answer the kind of questions you are asking -- it's probably time to try someone else. A real estate agent should be expected to know these kinds of details.
