I think it should be a little bigger than the Xerox tower. 600 would be too big and make the skyline look kinda weird.
When ever I go to Albany and see that larger tower, I feel its very out of place and ugly.

It could be worse...look at Turning Stone!!! Talk about a tower in the middle of nowhere!

lol to me it looks like something you would see in the USSR. Definitely weird architecture.
To me, good architecture withstands the test of time... For example, the US Capitol's neo-classical style is not en vogue today, but it still looks great and seems to be timelessly good architecture.
Albany's Empire State Plaza was designed to be cutting edge for the 60s. And today it still looks 60s. Whatever Paetec looks like, it should be able to still look good in 30 years.
I agree. Look at the midtown tower in Rochester. Ugly. The top part of the tower is a gross yellowish color like a life long smoker's teeth.
Thank god that baby is coming down. Ugliest building in WNY and even upstate. Well that Albany tower is pretty sinful looking.
