Default Development at the corner of University and N. Winton
Anyone know what's going in there? Appears to be some kind of supermarket...I saw rows of checkout aisles...

A supermarket called shop rite or something. Its a glorified Aldis basically. Garbage low quality food for cheap prices. I don't know why they chose thats spot when there are already two supermarkets just around the corner.

OK...I'm a die-hard wegmans guy but I really wouldn't have minded an Aldis for some stuff

I'm fantasizing about Trader Joe's coming to Rochester - I think there would be a market for them, even with Wegmans.

They opened up a trader joes in Cary NC shortly before we left....very unimpressed. My wife wanted to check it out because she'd heard all the rave; it's basically just a small under-stocked store with espensive organic brands most people haven't heard of and somewhat of a hippy to yuppie vibe.

Do you mean on Culver and University, across the tracks from Harris?

I was kinda hoping they would replace the Tops on Winton, it's kinda old and run down.
