from chicago to rochester (Riga, Churchville: house, school district, taxes)

relocating at the end of november...fell in love with a house that i viewed online in churchville village
how are the schools?
is it a family place...parks? bike path? park district?
any info appreciated greatly

Churchville Village is very nice. There is a big county park just on the outskirts of the village with golf course and plenty of places to bike. There isn't really much in the village itself, but a fairly short drive to shopping in Chili. The school district, Churchville-Chili, has a good reputation and was one of the ones we were considering when we moved to the west side of the city (we live nearby in Ogden). Churchville also has cheap municipal electric and low taxes (relatively speaking) because of being in the town of Riga -- which takes in a ton of money from the landfill on the outskirts of town (the downsides of the landfill does not affect the village).
