Thanks for the chuckles everyone. Rochester native now living in NC. You are right, Southerners don't know how to drive in the snow. Of course, if they call for a dusting of snow down here, you won't be able to find bread or milk in the stores.
Indeed that is true...BUT it is actually not that crazy. When I lived in NC, I first laughed at the rush to the store with every prediction of snow as well...until I realized that it is actually a legit concern because if it snows more than a dusting down there, you really can't get to the store!
