Default Thinking of moving to Rochester

I currently reside in small town WV, and I'm looking to several cities to move to. One of these is Rochester. I'll be renting an apartment, and wanted to know what some good places to look into would be. Looking to eastern Rochester, since there is a BJJ school there I'd like to attend/try out. Please provide any information to persuade/dissuade me from Rochester.

I'm a 22 year old former/future college student with no degree. I'll eventually need a job, but as of right now I have a few grand to supplement this move from my internet marketing adventures. Thanks folks.

Anything around the University/East ave or Browncroft/Winton/Merchants area are good on the east side.

14607, 14610 and 14620 zip codes include the best east side neighborhoods, as does the 14609 zip code so long as you stay east of Culver Road.
