Very good Italian- small inside but the food is so good- very casual and laid back inside... not fancy at all but you won't be disappointed w/ the food....
Another one in Webster..... Welcome! Proietti's.... SO GOOD! It is in the same plaza as the Webster Library- across from the Webster BJ's..... great food, a little pricier.... atmosphere.... delicious....
In Perinton Square Mall there is another one from the owners of Banucci's....
Bocaccinis Home Page great food and cool atmosphere (always get the carbonara there)..... They also own this one in Canandaigua (I believe) Koozinas Restaurant in Canandaigua, New York - Casual, Trendy with Outdoor Dining, Italian Cuisine - American Cuisine (the garlic pasta with chicken is the fav there) and I love them both.....

Being a Webster native (well, I grew up there!) we always have loved Proietti's as well. Actually, I believe they have done many of our family events; surprise 60th for my mom,Anniversary parties, baby showers, baptisms! Excellent food,Excellent service!
I love their Chicken French!

My Italian pick is I think called LaMartina's, on North Goodman a block or two south of the big Bausch and Lomb factory / R&D facility.
It's a place with stains in the ceiling, rips in the chairs, old neighborhood Italian guys counting out the change in their pockets to pay the tab, fabulous food and low prices. It's exactly what an Italian restaurant should be.
Try the homemade pasta or the lasagna. Don't get too fancy.

I thought I would link this thread since it has so many BBQ joints listed for Rochester ... my vote is always DINO personally- mostly for the sides (can't beat the coleslaw and pasta salad there)
http://www.city-data.com/forum/roche...rochester.html
Looks like we might be getting take out from Penfield's JC's Backyard BBQ tonight.... it is pretty decent... their wings are REALLY good. It is near the 4 corners of Penfield and been there for about a year now... not as strong and Dino or Sticky Lips but decent.... on the way home for Hubby and easy for take out....Fun place to eat at- can write on the walls and kids eat free on TUES I believe.....
and the coffee shop link.....

I was really impressed with the wings at the Winfield. Very meaty.
Jeremiah's is great. L&M lanes makes good wings. I used to like Mark's wings a while back but haven't eaten there since they got rid of their ovens.

I don't know if all Marks did it, but the couple by me replaced the pizza ovens with those line heater things that the pizza slides down. Like what dominos uses. Totally changed the taste of the pizza for me.
