Alright I like pubs.... love them actually... the environment... casual feel... the food.... and the beer (not ashamed to admit it ) LOL... Since my favorite bar in town has closed its door... and I don't think I can really get myself to another Mac G's (if I did it would probably be the one on the bay since it is the closest).... Where should I go???

Timothy Patricks in Penfield is fun... the menu is decent.... beer is ok...Smithwick's is on the menu- good choice for me T P's - Rochester Wiki

I like Rohrbachs but it is really far for me to go each and every time I want to go and get a pub fix.... but it is one of my favorites regardless.

Donnelly's in Fairport...????? Donnelly's Public House - Rochester Wiki

There is this new place Mulconry's Irish Pub in Fairport... Mulconry's Irish Pub and Restaurant I have been .... decent menu and the beer is pretty good....

Pittsford Pub...I have to say... I reallly like this bar but there is something about it that I just can't put my finger on... I keep going back because I like the food... but...??? Pittsford Pub

Then there is Flaherty's which is just a short drive from my house in Macedon near the new Loews there.... they have the food, the atmosphere... the beer... grew up going there....

Welcome to Flaherty's Three Flags Inn!

I used to like Mickey Finn's in Victor, but I haven't been there since they redesigned with the fireman's theme. The Thirsty Turtle out that way on 96 is worth trying as well.

I hadn't been there before so I can't compare to anything prior but I was just there a few weeks ago and the food was very good, atmosphere was nice, overall I really enjoyed the experience and we immediately added it to our repeat visit list.

Hey how about ice cream? Where are the good places to get good ice cream and I don't mean custard or soft serve, I want good old fashioned hard ice cream.

Two of my favorites are Papa Jacks on Rt 96 in Victor and Read's on East Henrietta Road.

If you want a heavy loaded sundae that is giant, flavorful, inexpensive, and delicious.... and a nice walk on the canal...go to Lickity Splits in Fairport- Box Factory building in the village by the lift bridge..... they are only open late spring through fall.... but they are pretty good

but if you want variety and really amazing ice cream... go to BREWSTERS... there is one in WEBSTER and right next to it is a mini golf course for the kids....beware the small isn't so SMALL!!!!!! and the give tiny baby cone free to tiny tots....

Default Pane Vino

Celebrating our 30th anniversary and wanted to try a new place...we've done 2-Vine, Tastings, Black and Blue so we're heading to Pane Vino on Water St. I know of people who have gone for lunch and they loved it. The menu is to die for and I made reservations for next Saturday only to find out after 7 pm they were pretty well booked....all good signs!!!!

Just looking for some reviews of dinner experience and how are the bands they have playing each Saturday?

Thx...

The old married one
