I went to school in Brockport. I never had any issues with crime, it's a really small town with the school keeping it pretty much alive. There's a few bars and places to eat but you have to go to Rochester for malls and such.
I had a good time there, it's peaceful and lot's of trees, wildlife..
I went to Brockport University. There schools there for highschool and elementary if that's what you were refering too.
There are not many job opportunities in Brockport (unless you want to work for the University
You can drive in to Rochester for more jobs, a 20-25 min drive.
