I don't know about seasonal events. I know many people who shop garage sales and Craigslist.

This is biannual (spring and fall) event: WeePeats. I haven't gone in a couple years, but I know it is now very popular. It's fine if you don't mind investing some time, whether as a consignor or shopper.

Thanks a lot. This is exactly what I was looking for, but somehow Google did not return this website for Rochester's consignment sale!
